Simon Spier a 17-year-old guy shares his love story. Simon is gay and hasn't told basically anyone. He falls in love with a an anonymous classmate that he cant discover. There are a lot of over-the-shoulder shots in Love, Simon. This is because Simon is usually talking to someone about something and his facial reaction tells it all to the audience. There is a lot of emotion in the movie because the main character is trying to find himself. Through all the quiet scene the lighting is very dim and quiet so the audience can focus on the characters. The dialogue in the movie changes. The movie starts with Simon voice over talking about who he is and his life. The music throughout the movie is very dramatic and happy (a mix of pop music). The movie budget was around $10-17 million and made a worldwide total of $66.3 million. This movie won multiple awards including the Teen Choice Award and was nominated for MTV Awards.
