Film Genre Research- cyberbully
This movie is a teen drama. Taylor (Emily Osment) a high school student gets bullied online. The first two minutes of the movie start of with a close-up of the computer and texts between friends. You also get a look at Taylor's family, her mom, friend and younger brother. Some camera shots include, a medium wide shot of Emily crying against a tree showing her sadness from being bullied. The camera was constantly overlooking Taylor's computer with the social media website up. This is suppose to emphasize the unplug and get rid of the drama concept. Then, sad Taylor is crying and showing expressions of fear and pain, after being bullied. The editing of the movie is a lot of basic cuts from scene to scene. The movie starts of with upbeat happy music, even though you know the movie is going to get more sad. The featured titles match up with the person in the cut. The budget and revenue is unknown. This movie had two wins and seven nominations.
