Use of Conventions
The genre of my product was drama. This movie relates to real life problems, some people live with. The issue of the movie is that a teenage girl has to live with problems of her parents arguing constantly and living with her alcoholic dad. The conventions of this movie helps show the plot and meaning of this story. Some of these conventions includes the characters. Mia (Hope) is the main character struggling to balance her home and school life. The music convention shows allows us to set the sad mood. Another important convention that explains the meaning of the movie would be the title. "Trapped" gives the product a little meaning behind the story, being "Trapped" with feelings kno one knows about. All in all, the conventions allow for the meaning, mood, and genre to be understood.
